Sumatra PDF
Sumatra PDF is a free PDF, eBook (ePub, Mobi), XPS, DjVu, CHM, Comic Book (CBZ and CBR) reader for Windows. Sumatra PDF is powerful, small, portable and starts up very fast. Simplicity of the user interface has a high priority.

Adobe Acrobat and Sumatra PDF are both desktop programs for reading PDF files. They are free, work on Windows, support viewing multi-page documents. can work with local and network files, allow to open documents in full-screen mode, support hotkeys for navigation.

But Adobe Acrobat (a market veteran - since 1993) - supports not only reading, but also creating, editing and converting PDFs (though only in the paid version). In addition to Windows, it also works on macOS, iOS, Android, supports digital signatures and document protection. It has a useful function of adding comments and annotations.

Sumatra PDF (2006) is a Polish program, completely free and open source. It is minimalistic and very fast. In addition to PDF, it can open ePub, MOBI, XPS, DjVu, CBZ, CBR. There is a portable version - which can be used without installation.
