Alfresco is a Free enterprise content management system for Microsoft Windows and Unix-like operating systems. Alfresco includes a content repository, an out-of-the-box web portal framework for managing and using standard portal content, a CIFS interface that provides file system compatibility on Microsoft Windows and Unix-like operating systems, a web content management system capable of virtualizing webapps and static sites via Apache Tomcat, Lucene indexing, and Activiti workflow. The Alfresco system is developed using Java technology.

Joomla, the free and open-source portal/website CMS for publishing web content, has released two new versions, Joomla 4.1.3 and 3.10.9, comprising bug fixes and improvements that include a task scheduler, child templates and accessibility checker. It is built on the model-view-controller architecture which can be used independently of the CMS that allows you to build powerful online applications. Joomla’s latest version of CMS is 4.1.3 which allows users to start their website capable of growing with their needs and also able to scale with their customers. Though users could still start new projects with the 3.10 version, it highly recommends its users use Joomla 4 for new projects. Joomla 3.10 is moving towards End of Support (EOS) and only less than half a year is remaining for bug fixes followed by one year for security fixes until 17th August 2023. The 4.x is the new major version of Joomla and has already been available for almost a year. This version offers many improvements and benefits the users from the latest production versions of PHP that boosts the security and performance of your site.
