Both services use personalization algorithms, allow you to select topics of interest, subscribe to specific sources, save news to read them later. Both are available on mobile devices and in the browser

But Apple News (launched in 2015) only works on Apple devices and is limited to several country (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.). Like all Apple applications, it focuses on design and ease of use of the interface. There is a premium subscription Apple News+, which offers magazines and exclusive content.

Google News (2002) is originally a Google news search engine. It is completely free and works in most countries, covering more than 50,000 sources. Available on any platform, including Android, iOS and the web. One of its interesting features is Full Coverage, which allows you to evaluate the same news from different points of view.
