FlowiseAI vs Voiceflow

FlowiseAI and Voiceflow are both no-code/low-code platforms for creating AI-powered communication agents, interacting with users/customers. They connect to language models (such as OpenAI's GPT), learn from your data and provide a builder for visually designing dialogue-scenaries. But FlowiseAI (launched in Singapore in 2023) is an open-source platform (the code is hosted on GitHub) optimized for customization and local hosting. It is built on the open-source LangChain framework for integrating LLM with external data (files, DB, search). FlowiseAI has a modular architecture, drag-and-drop builder and tools for technical professionals who want to flexibly customize AI agents

Voiceflow (2019, Canada) is a platform focused on creating voice and chat interfaces (originally created for Alexa and Google Assistant, but then switched to LLM). This is a paid service that is more suitable for non-technical professionals (UX designers). Unlike FlowiseAI, it provides tools for teamwork and scenario testing
