KeePass is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish). For more information, see the features page.

2025. KeePass adds native support of ARM Windows

Open-source password manager KeePass has released the new versio 2.59. It now support Windows 11 24H2 ARM64 and later without x64 emulation. It also added KeePassLibN library native support, which provides native implementations of AES-KDF and Argon2 on Windows systems. The KeePass KDB import/export module now supports importing and exporting the default user name and the database color. When exporting a database to a KDB file, the root group is now exported, too. The developers added support for opening URLs with alternative browsers (Maxthon, SeaMonkey and Yandex) in private mode. On Unix-like systems, URLs in certain views are now linkified. Also, encrypting/decrypting databases using the AES algorithm is now faster.
