2025. Tidio released Lyro AI - conversational AI for SMBs



Customer service automation Tidio has introduced Lyro which is advertised as the first conversational AI chatbot designed for automating customer service and support in small and medium businesses. It's powered by Claude LLM (created by an AI research company Anthropic). Lyro is able to deliver personalized support to customers, like a human service agent would. On top of that, the bot leads the conversations in a natural way and doesn't require any training from your support team. It's most suited for ecommerce and services companies but available for all industries with exceptions of medical, finance-related, politics, news and adult content. Lyro is built to work within the limits of your knowledge base which reduces the risk of hallucination or incorrect answers.


2022. Take Blip lands $70M to grow its omnichannel messaging service



Take Blip, an online messaging platform for businesses, has raised $70 million in a Series B. Take Blip customers, which include Coca-Cola and Nestlé, get tools to automate conversations with chatbots that can hand off complex issues to customer service reps. As do many other vendors in the messaging space, Take Blip also provides analytics to monitor reps’ performance — a feature with which some might take issue (particularly considering the company retains data for up to five years).
