2024. WeTransfer limits free plan to 10 transfers
File sharing service WeTransfer is now restricting users to 10 transfers per month with its free tier. At the same time, WeTransfer is introducing some advantages to the free plan, including raising the overall file transfer cap from 2GB to 3GB, adding unlimited portals (collaborative folders for working with clients) and reviews and password protection for all transfers. It is also eliminating a 5% fee on paid transfers, a feature that enabled users to sell files on the platform. There is a new WeTransfer Starter plan that costs $6.99 per month. The starter plan offers the same features as the free plan with an expanded size limit of 300GB. Previously, WeTransfer had a Pro and Premium plan priced at $15 per month and $25 per month in the U.S. Now the company is consolidating all benefits into a $25 per month Ultimate plan.
