Important news about RPA Software

2025. UiPath Autopilot agent for Microsoft Teams is now available

UiPath has released the enhanced agent for Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, allowing joint customers access to UiPath enterprise-grade automation capabilities from anywhere they use Copilot for Microsoft 365 or Teams. It's built on UiPath’s own large language model-based digital assistant Autopilot and its web app Orchestrator. Autopilot can also access UI or API automations built by a user or by their organization’s center of excellence and easily run them as part of a user’s workflow. The agent will help workers to interact directly with UiPath Autopilot from Teams and will offer a broad range of capabilities, like suggesting which automations are needed to complete tasks, filling out parameters from context, recommending next steps and stitching together automations to automate complex workflows. Employees benefit from adding UiPath Autopilot as a collaborator while staying in Teams where they’re already working, while making use of enterprise knowledge via access to Microsoft Graph and the robust set of automations from UiPath’s platform.

2022. Luminai gets $16M investment for customer support RPA-like tool

Luminai, that provides customer support RPA software, has raised $16 million Series A. What Luminai now does is record a video of a user jumping between different systems. Using the Luminai recorder, we keep track of the clicks and keystrokes and our software is able to recognize if there is an API available or not, and then replicate that exact same workflow in the background. Customers describe it like a macro on steroids, but what really separates it from pure RPA tools is the ability to connect to API gateways when they are available. What’s different is that we’re kind of combining RPA with traditional API-based integration.

2021. Mimica, which automates RPA, raises $6M

Mimica, which automates robotic process automation, has raised a $6 million Series A funding. Mimica’s first product, Mapper, operates in the realm of “process discovery,” which “learns patterns from employee clicks and keystrokes” thus generating process maps that normally take business analysts months to produce via manual effort. In other words, it automates the process of automation. Mimica supports RPA teams that build software bots that complete repetitive tasks such as data entry, form completion, and claim and ticket processing.
